Reservable City Parks: Aaron Perry, Beaudette, Galloway, Murphy, Oakland, Richardson, and Rotary. Other parks are first-come, first-served basis.

Is this a Standard Park Rental or a Special Event?
Standard Park Rental
A reservation for a park, pavilion, or open park space for a private or small gathering that does not include additional event activities or require special permits.
Special Event
An event that includes vendors, food trucks, inflatables, stages, generators, entertainment, large tents, large attendance, fundraising or revenue-generating activities, or other activities that may require additional City review or permits.
Standard Park Rental
- Requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the rental date.
- If a date or time appears blank on the reservation calendar, it is not available for booking. This may be because of a Parks & Recreation program or event, an existing reservation, or the required 14-day advance booking window.
- Rental fees will be displayed during checkout, but you will not be charged at that time.
- All rentals require a security deposit.
- The security deposit will be refunded within 30 days after the rental, provided the rental area is free of debris and has been restored to the condition it was in before the rental.
- Your reservation request will be reviewed by the Parks & Recreation Department.
- Once approved, you will receive an invoice for payment.
- Full payment is due 10 days before the rental date.
Special Event Request
- Contact the Planning Department at 248-758-2824 to determine special event requirements and complete the appropriate application.
- Special event requests should be submitted at least 30 days in advance.
- A site plan and additional documentation may be required depending on the event components.
- Any Planning Department fees must be paid in addition to the park rental fees must be paid, and all required permits must be obtained before the event can take place in the park.
- Additional City departments may need to review the event.
- Required permits must be obtained before the event.
- Failure to obtain required permits may result in denial or cancellation of the event.
